The Soysauce's First Halloween

Halloween for me as a kid was awesome, costumes, CANDY and just a time to get silly. Now having my own son, I think about the exciting years to come of that. But for now, while Sawyer is young, I get to dress him in ridiculous costumes. So in honor of his nickname, I could think of nothing other than making my own little Soy Sauce bottle.
What some felt, scissors, a hot glue gun, and some velcro can create.
Happy Hallowen!

My Little Traveler

I know it's been a few weeks since I have posted and lots of things have been happening in Neville land. Sawyer had a serious growth spurt and now weighs 16 lbs, 13oz and measures in at 27.5 inches long. 9 month clothing already at almost 5 months old. He is becoming more and more active by the day. Rolling over, standing with assistant of course and reaching for anything that he can put in his mouth. Teeth are just around the corner I can feel it.
He really loves to be outside and for the most part is happy to cruise where ever we take him.
So I took advantage of that and while Seth was in Vietnam for work we headed to Grandma's house in Florida...Checking off a few firsts along the way.
First plane ride, first boat ride, first time in the pool and fully in the ocean and of course first time in Florida.  We had a wonderful 8 day visit and I think Grandma fell even more in love with little Soysauce. We were sad to leave but happy to get home and see Daddy. Now that everyone is back home we have just been enjoying our little family, talking walks, sitting around the fire and even took him to a pumpkin patch to snap a few photos.

Sawyer in the Clouds

We took Sawyer to a small little pumpkin patch.  He seemed amazed! It was cute to see and we snapped a few cute photos while there.

The view of an almost 5 month old. We have been busy this month traveling and running around town. Perhaps I need to add a few more things for him to look at.

This photo really captures the feeling of our trip to Florida.

We forgot our shades, so Grandma bought him these stylish ones. Mr. Cool Dude

The beauty of technology allowed Seth, Sawyer and I to see each other while Seth was in Vietnam

Sawyer got to spend some quality time with his Grandma!

1, 2, 3, now 4 months old! Yippee

Life of a 4 month old, I just love it.

Hey, Mmmm, Oooh, Ahhh, Hoo are just some of the sounds Sawyer makes now on a daily basis. He even laughs out loud. Just melting Seth and I's heart. These past two weeks have been busy full of new milestones and adventures. Sawyer can roll over, front to back. Will suck on whatever gets even close to his mouth, especially his thumb. Yup we got ourselves a thumb sucker, for now. And like Ra Dog, has a drooling problem. I see teeth in the near future. Ouch.
He just loves to stand. Its a little wobbly obviously, but it's so cute to see his big smile all bobbling around and he also got to go the the zoo for the first time.

Sawyer now weighs 15lbs 7oz and is 26 inches long. Doc says that he is as healthy as can be and can start eating rice cereal here soon. Crazy! He was a little fussy after his 4 month shots, but overall a trooper. Only crying for a few seconds at the doctors office.

I had to go to the doc, he did so great minus pooping all over me. Haha

Not a fan of tummy time

Love his toes
